The Simonton Team
At Simonton Engineering, we strive every day to exceed the expectations of our clients, working hard to keep them impressed with our energy and dedication to minimizing their infrastructure problems. Working in concert with the client to be proactive in recognizing the challenges of the future as it relates to water, wastewater, transportation, drainage and land planning is our passion.
Our team approaches every project with a tried and true design but incorporates the latest technology, keeping our designs on the leading edge of proven technology, but not experimenting with new ideas.
Our Mission
The mission of Simonton Engineering is to create high quality engineering solutions in partnership with our clients while maintaining a culture of reliability, trust and teamwork founded on decades of experience.
Specialty Services
Most projects begin with an evaluation of the conditions and an alternative analysis to determine the best solution. The subsequent report generated as part of this process is then used to present the project to stakeholders, obtain funding or include in a Capital Improvement Program. Many of our projects actually begin with this step where we join the client in a partnership solving the problem and finding solutions.
Got a unique problem and need some help finding a solution. Our passion is finding solutions to engineering problems. Many times that includes thinking outside the box and creating new solutions using solid engineering experience but applying that knowledge in a different way.
Almost all of our projects come with the task of finding funding. Over the last 40 years we have developed relationships with many of the funding sources and developed a good understanding of the programs. Matching the projects and clients with the appropriate funding source requires that knowledge of the programs. The funding sources include many of the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA) programs, USDA Rural Development, U.S Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA), Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA), Department of Natural resources and many other programs where the project fits the package.
Many of our clients have projects with great VISION, but carry a huge permitting burden to bring them to reality. We pride ourselves in clearing those hurdles for the client to clear the way to make the VISION a Reality. Most have some Environmental component but whether it involves wastewater treatment, water supply, water withdrawal, stormwater pollution or erosion and sediment control or other regulatory permits we probably have experience in the permitting process.
Many of our clients give us the problem and ask us to solve it. Once a solution is in place, we turn everything back over to them. It is with Great pride that our clients have such faith in our ability to deliver the project. While our task begins with the investigation and analysis with the recommendation; it ends when we get the project built. To accomplish the end goal we have to not only understand and prepare a good set of plans, we also need to understand construction techniques and be able to work with the contractor to realize a completed project. This is where our teamwork approach shines and we can deliver a complete service to our clients.
